Thanks for all the info.

I have pretty much decided on racing in Indiekart at Hooton. Sounds a hoot. (terrible I know).

I have little interest in paying the silly money to get my license back.

The only thing with Idiekart I find odd, is the tyres situation.

Why doesn't everybody just agree to use the old TKM greens? Now that they are Ł70 a set it seems like a great budget tyre. Tyres are one of the largest variable in motorsport. Seems odd to have them open.

I will be attending the next meeting for a nosey. Is there a facebook group or anything I could join? Finding out info seems more difficult than ever. The whole karting world seems much more fragmented than it did in the mid 2000's.
