Good carb prep is very important. There are a few articles online on how to but some carbs are inherently better performers than others, that said some inherently good carbs are very often poorly prepared.
You need to bear in mind that the best information is always the stuff you will not get for free as this is the detail from which a few people earn a living, not just a hobby.
