Andrew,
Interesting that you take such a view on safety in Motorsport. Indefensible, but interesting. I am sure your last post will sit nicely in your portfolio of work for your drivers rep role...
I doubt you will understand or care, you being so hard and cool, but Karting is largely a kids sport and safety is important for them. So if I have to be insulted by you to make a point to balance up you "tough karting men" so be it.
And if you think karting with no bumpers, and 50mph starts makes karting a real hard mans sport, please feel free to participate in one of the other motorsports in which I have been a competitor; road racing and motocross, and see how hard you really are.
