I'm a bit rusty on the regs, but I think that's "Clubman" spec and I don't think there's a Junior class. To race "contemporary" TKM I think you have to have latest-gen pod bar mounts.

Use it for testing, maybe even a bit of non-MSA racing if there's some local to you, then upgrade to the later chassis when he's stopped driving into things. There'll be MUCH more time to find in him than in changing the axle at this stage.
