Hi All,

Im converting my TKM to a direct drive at the minute from a clutch set up as I have lost my helper for the next round and near to get her fired up on my own.

I must be honest the thought of doing it on my own is filling me with fear that its not going to start. Has anybody got any tips..........dos and donts to make sure I have the best chance of getting her started?

I have a hand held starter so im thinking that I can start the engine up on the stand first which will enable the carb to be prepared and adequate fuel in the system? I have also read that the carb settings may need adjusting from clutch to DD can anyone shed any light on this?
