The 2008 and 2006 are the same chassis and I used to set my 2005 chassis up the same way as the 2006. There is therefore no need for any modification.

it just feels a little different and didn't quite react to well with the "normal" mk2 wet set up. On reverting to the Mk1 typical wet set up it was simply awesome.

One thing to consider, however, is to have your chassis checked by 7Kart. I know when Chris Riggal took over the company a significant amount of work has gone into making the jig a lot better and hence the tollerances have reduced. Some of the chassis from before were quite a bit out.
