Prokarting is as cheap as you budget dictates. There is nothing wrong with standard car oils and they will work perfectly well, however, they may just be a little something in using an oil that is going to deliver a minisquell amount of additional power. If all you are doing is starting out in teh sport then your 10/50 or 0/40 car oils will be good enough but if you are at the stage where you are looking for half a tenth then you will spend whatever you have in finding it.

One thing, however. These little engines do not have any filter so spare your self the potential expense of a new conrod and change your oil every so often (4-6 hours).
