Thanks for the welcome. We've only been around for 2 races. Hope to see you R/H next month.

Last Saturday we had petrol was squirting out at the carb gasket. After changing the gasket 3 times and reseating the carb about ?? times, we tried another carb and it worked straight away.

We suspect it was the float valve in the carb although it looked fine when we stripped it.

It kept flooding the carb and the area it was coming out suggests it's by design. There is a small hole in the carb gasket and a channel/groove in the carb body.

Had to borrow the carb so starting to think about ordering one and a few other engine bits in preperation. I'll have a look at the e-book and that list looks good thanks again.
