Ok Guys thanks for the comments and i have made notes !!!
At the moment it looks like that enough interest is there from drivers and manufactures to take this further but i do understand drivers concerns about travel and cost, don't forget i did the challenge for many years. As for the comment about the 4 stroke weekend that used to be at Whilton, to organise it was a nightmare for Paul, what a lot of you forgot was that a lot of money and commitment had to be made weeks before the event and some drivers were so slow in paying for the meeting that he did not know until the last few days if there were enough to do it and the gamble is just not worth it. Shame really i am not saying it is everyone i know a lot helped but you have to understand his possition, i have also arranged meetings in the past and get the same problem that is why i am cautious about this, i have said before people jump at the chance and somelet you down at the last minute, all we are all trying to do is give you what you ask for in racing but we need your commited support. There will be a non msa 4 stroke bash at Whilton on November 15th!!! Anyway now off my soapbox !!
At the moment the short list looks something like this ::

Circuits : They have to be MSA, some clubs will not run pro karts (Trent Valley PFI) and other clubs do not have the space for another class to run (Whilton) so we will have to fit in round the circuits that will run pro karts. It has to start small and grow over a seasson or 2 so there will be only one class initially, we have to join in with clubs as there are not enough drivers for a stand alone meeting, you need about 100 to make it work and that at the moment will not happen.
As it stands favourate circuits that will take us
Fulbeck, Teeside, Llandow, Rye, Rowrah (double header bank holiday) Ellough Park, Barton Stacey, Larkhal, IOM, possible Shenington !

Classes - Senior only at the moment, if there are enough there could be a heavy class but they would have to run on the same grid. all depends on numbers. It would be great to eventually bring back the cadets and juniors, you never know there may be more cadets out there wanting to race than seniors so you guys had better let everyone know about this

Tyres - still not sure what make i will be advised by the drivers for now although RATPRO rules are still dunlop, it will be one set per meeting - stamped and dated but it will be up to the driver if they want to run a new set or a set they ran last meeting. If i tell drivers that they will have to run for 3 meetings on a set what happens if a new driver joins the class on meeting 3?? all on rubber that has done 3 meetings and new guy on a new set, don't think it would go down to well. I think most will have a competition set they use for just for heats and final and others for practice so the race set would do at least 3 meetings. No doubt you will tell me if i am wrong !!

Engines - this really is the easiest, as this is going to be the top in Pro Karting they will be controlled by Kelvin, as you all want, no control engines, but what Kelvin says goes and i will get engines dyno tested if i even suspect the slightest thing and all drivers will sign to say they agree to thier engines being tested at any time i feel nesessary, got that!!

Licence and equipment : £30 for a full MSA licence is a bargain so not complaints there, you spend that in the pub for 1 night, ok chain guards not very expensive and i think all karts should have them anyway, we will look at the plastics and anything else you might need shortly if this really gets going, helmets and suits, well thats something we cannot do anything about but if you are thinking about racing in the class i would think that the investment would be well worth it.

Ok thats all from me for now you all know how to contact me and get my phone number if you want to call ( i cannot put it on here ) so let me know and lets start getting names
