I have to agree. Over the years I have bought loads of karts from dispondent drivers and sold them with nothing more than a clean, bit of TLC and, most importantly, set up. Paid for a whole season's racing one year and allowed me to trade up to the kit I have today. What amazed me is just how far out something as simple as tracking was or chain alignment - really simple stuff. Best one ever was throttle cables were too slack!!
In fact the last kart I saw purchsed from ebay was one of the best examples of a mk1 7kart that I have seen in years.
There is, however, a whole load of kack on ebay and I feel for anyone that purchases blind or with very little knowledge.
