No one has said anything about using wet's. That question has been done to absolute death and keeps coming back now and again. The fact that 3S don't use them is the very thing that keeps the whole event affordable for all - even for us rif-raf!
I know of one team at the last race who were openly out on Bridgestones, and not for performance or unfair advantage as they are talented enough not to need them, but simply because they couldnt get hold of Chings.
I'm sure a transitional period would be the way to go, if they do change over, though I find it hard not to believe that there wont be people in China still making tyres long after the mighty Bridgestone empire has ended.
