contact www.Allensperformance.co.uk they supplied my needle valve,just tell them you are running a pulse pump and not gravity ,and they should know what one you will need.and no the pulse pump wont get damaged ,Rotax max use this pump with no return pipe allowed ,they obviously have the correct needle valve in their dellorto,s.another tip is to mount the pulse pump low on the back of the seat or below the fuel level in the tank,that way the pump is always kept with fuel in it and self primes and never runs back.pump lasts forever too cos it always stays wet.run the pump off the inlet manifold vacuum and not the oily crankcases.
