as opposed to holding joints together with what is essentially solder. Using two points of lower heated metal on either side to create the join rather then creeating an actual weld of two materials. I admit it has its application but i dont see it as a postive selling point buy x chassis because when it breaks we can repair it again and again and again. Surely better to make strong in the first place. Just because it is brazed doesnt necessarily mean it isnt stressed on the other parts just because it breaks there first. Of course you can always take a hack saw to it and put clamps on it as has been done in the past
