I was watching the Speedway GP on TV the other night, and watched Tomaz Gollob go through the entire meeting undefeated - most probably on his way to becoming world champion this year.
After the final, the top 3 riders ride to the podium, park their bikes and the celebrations commence.
Before ascending the podium, Gollob rocked his bike over to elevate the rear wheel off the ground, then pulled the wheel round until the engine was at TDC.
This obviously results in bth valves being closed and therefore the valve springs are relaxed.
Any of you guys do this already?
