there is no problem with repairing, straightening welding ms kart if needed. Not had a problem myself. However when i sold my 2006 ms to another 3 sisters team they bent it quite badly in their second or third race. I tested it for them told them where it was bent it went back to howard who straightened it and next time out they promptly set fastest lap on it against my brand new 2009 kart at the next race. I'd buy it back from them in a shot as it was a great kart. The karts are designed to do what they do. If you hit hit something hard enough you will damage it regardless of the make of chassis, but usually they can be straightened quite easily
