if a valve has bent it may have damaged the valve guide. Valves used to get bent when they dropped due to a failure of collet. Fitting exhaust collet and rotator, to both inlet and exhaust valves went a long way to solving the issue. I am told the fitting of the stem seal has also helped prevent valves dropping.
So a few Q's to diagnose the present problem... # which valve was bent? # was it attached normally within the collet? # did it have the exhaust collet and rotator fitted? # did it have a stem seal fitted? # was there any marks on the piston?
If it was me I would check valve guide for wear and fit the above mentioned parts to both sides of the head. Brian P.
