Biland i think prokart engines are unsealed to allow diy maintainence to keep costs down!! i think the SP engine thing is on a par with cheating because you are ensuring you have the best to gain advantage. the chassis arguement is not the same. in that area you cannot demand demand buy back,pooled etc. a new chassis may or may not gain you an advantage. the way i look at it is- you start off with an old chassis with decent engines,save for a new chassis only to find to be on the pace you also need SP engines. the budget class has been turned into a cheque book grid.:(

how many folks racing elite at wardenlaw have normal race engines?
