I think you'll find 4 stroke karting has something to offer nearly everybody who isn't put off by the words '4 stroke'.
If you're near Lakeside then I'm guessing you're in the heart of F6 country, which offers just about every form of 4 stroke karting going. If you prefer 2 strokes then it's probably the speed you like, although it may be the smell or the sound! If it is speed you're after then you'd be pleasantly suprised (or even blown away) by the performance of the TKM K4s or any of the 250/300cc 4 strokes (Biland, Swissauto, Ecomoto etc).
Why not get yourself down to Bayford Meadows, Sittingbourne, Kent on 9th April and see them all in action and take your pick.
