its capacity. We did have a rotary engine race in the formula 6 open class a few years back and it was indeed very competitive. It was a 250cc built by italsistem (a 2 stroke manufacturer).
The Aixro was deliberately built outside the MSA regulation 250cc limit which is what gives it its power advantage over the other 4-strokes.
If someone has an aixro they want to race in f6 next year i'm sure we could come up with a carb spec that will kick out 30-35bhp using the existing ecu setup. That way you could just swap carbs to race in the AIM series or F6. Shouldn't have any problem with F6 in that spec.
Also, if you use crank revolutions as you would on other engines i believe a rotary is technically a 1-stroke.
