Also just remember the oils that you buy for cars etc are designed to be pumped under pressure through the big end bearing which in its self creates to oil film separating the surfaces, the honda doesnt do this it relies on splash lubrication. The joe gibbs oils have been designed to provide lubrication for the Hondas that maintain an oil film on the surface of the big end when running at high rpm, the Halfords brand wont be developed to do this as good. I would think if you kept the revs to the original 3000 or so rpm then the Halfords type of oil would be fine, but above that i think its safer to have a special lube..
