Will wet tyres come good straight away, I mean with regards to grip, slick need running in do wets?

Also never used wet tyres on my mk2 7 kart, i've got 160 rears and 120 front?

Should i keep the tyre pressures approx 5-7 psi more than a slick (made that up I think)
