2mm is a lot mate, thats 78 thou in old money, you could try jacking it back up with the fibre gasket, or are you already using the fibre gasket?....otherwise you may have gone too far with them

did you not consider using K-spec heads.....they are a 14CC bowl compared to I think 18CC for the T2 head....so you dont need to skim them that buch, or not at all.

There was a guy selling a pair of K-spec heads in the for-sale section a few weeks back......07730 678661.....they have been lightly skimmed already.....think he wanted Ł80 for the pair, which is a fair deal.
