Nice idea but did they ever use spoked wheels in the old days!!

In answer to the question it should be a non-contact sport and quality drivers do so with no contact.

Having a good clerk is half the battle as there remains a bit of subjectivity around whether the contact was avoidable or not. Making them aware of a particular driver's behaviour might assist in them paying greater attention next time, however, the protest system has been developed for a good reason and so long as you have a clear case it will end up not costing you anything (in fact less as it should stop damage).

Save for that it is all a bit of chat on here unless you wish to name and shame!!
