Do you know when they were last rebuilt by RPM? You could always phone Rog and Paul to ask if it was sometime in the last year or so. In fact if you have the dyno read outs it should say when they were last done.

As for the pistons, the E spec piston was completely flat whilst the T and the UT have a very slightly raised centre.

100 PSI is low, however, did you achieve this with the exhaust rocker off and the carb either removed or fully open?.

Heads are where you normally find the quickest and cheapest issues so before going to the expense of the pistons and rings why not try a lap of the valves and re-test the compression?

I used to use the 3 leg glaze buster and it worked well enough for the racing i was doing at the time. Engine building has advanced significantly such that the good ones (like RPM) are using proper hone machines. Accordingly it would be unlikely to get the same results on a diy basis these days.
