Not had a problem with powdercoating except a floor tray that mysteriously curled after baking, strangely it was one of 2 done at the same time and the other was perfect.
The only thing you will need to take some care of when re building the kart is where stub akle inserts ect where a component fits tightlt ino a hole will need to be eased with a Dremmel or similar as the coating is thicker than the original paint. Also torsion bar clamps will be tighter than on a painted chassis.
one nice touch is to have the chassis lacuered as well which enhances the finish.
