Have to agree with Trev here

24hr races people only change tyres to gain extra tenth over night period but thats to be very near the front.

I myself have done hole 24hr on 1 set , and a 6 hour on the same set.

It will all depend on set-up of kart and track itself (abrasive then more tyre wear)
