I need two newer spec engines as I'm running 5mph slower down the straights and my engines are about 10 years old.

I've got a mate with 2 brand new genuine short engines i dont see any problem with swap exhaust, tanks, throttle linkage etc but the only thing i'm not sure about is the carbs?

also the other problem is the output shaft is 16mm is it 20mm that is needed for karting? and would it be possible to swap the crank out of my old k spec engines over.

Clearly all of this would be cheaper than buying 2 brand new engines as he only wants £250 for both so bit cheaper than £400
