another load of bo##ocks theory by Trev...

my take on not specifying tyres for a British Championship race series:

# one make of tyres will be the faster tyre
# the fast lads will test all options and buy the faster tyres
# actually wanting to win rather than just turn up and be on slower equipment is what makes a Brit' Champs prestigous
# the slow lads who know they are slow due to wrong tyres will get sick and leave
or
# the people on the slower tyre will catch on too late and have to buy the faster tyre irrespective of it is useful elsewhere
plus
# even the most cost conscious peeps need to buy tyres eventually in a multi round series so why on earth buy anything but the faster tyre?
# the biggest budget wins again

-who in their right mind would ever enter a Brit' Champ' race knowing they have little chance of winning, due to tyre choice?

but what do I know?????
