Looking in the regulations: http://www.msauk.org/uploadedfiles/KartTech/GX160v8.pdf it does seem to say that, but then it points you to a picture of the plate and I can't see a burr or a brown line (whatever that is) so what actually is the test?

I know the plate was made in a hurry and not exactly to super high standards, and none of them are exactly the same, but in theory you almost have SP restrictor plates.

If the engine builder deburr them then fair do's it's a modification if they haven't and you've got one that wasn't made on a Friday afternoon and it looks like what's in the picture then what have you fallen foul of?
