You won't be the only one over the weight limit. I've been running at about 6kg over weight in Rotax since 2007 and a similar amount on ProKarts when they ran Kartlines at Teesside. The switch to Bridgestones took it down to about 4kg over. Fit a 3 litre fuel tank so you can safely run down to the minimum amount of 1 litre remaining at the end of the race.

When I ran a 7 Kart Mk1 last September I had to borrow some lead off AndyB to make the weight which was a first for me. That might have something to do with it being on the back of the Teesside 24hr and then a round of OEKC in a Rotax!
