Always assumed this was a 'special' F1 part made up of a male threaded piece which screwed into the upright rivetted into a standard male threaded 'Rose' joint. Chris Purdie , cpracing.co.uk are/ were later manufacturer of F1 karts. Obviously needs a top quality joint in this application.
