haha no unfortunately thats eu rules for you....because the road needs to be narrowed for the works at night the lane widths have to stay that width throughout the day, its jus impracticle and expensive to keep relayin new cats eyes every night!!!

i agree though 50mph is slow, but unfortunately its a necessary evil, its more because trucks are right on the limit width wise, and the 50mph gives drivers more time to react if a truck is getting a bit too close

look on the bright side, when the works are finished you will have a 4 lane motorway during peak times/accidents so it should ease congestion in theory
