Was that geared properly for max straightline speed ? I would have expected to be able to pull a higher terminal velocity than 225Km/h on conrod. Not sure whether there are safety issues in terms of balance over a certain speed in a Superkart though... I saw one take off and do an inversion at about 140mph a long time ago, so there may be.
