So since 2005-2006 there have been around 8 deaths at the TT and Manx. In the same time frame karting has had around the same amount. Yes many more people do karting, but still the fact remains people have been killed in our sport.
The horrifying difference is that unlike the TT, in karting children have been killed. One of those who died in America was a child.
Safety is very important to me, especially when children are involved, but if grown men want to put their lives at risk at the TT it's up to them!
But to call the TT a bloodbath is double standards, and somewhat offensive and ignorant to a sport you yourself support!
