It should apply to Burkha wearers, but equally, we don't ban crash helmets to ensure they're not worn in banks and airports. Such an argument has no basis in logic.
I feel that most people's argument against the Burkha is not really the fact that they "get away" with wearing them in banks etc, but really a thinly veiled (no pun intended) fear of those that are different. The woman at your door was posing no threat. Why treat her any differently than any other? In fact, from a purely moral standpoint, if the "subjugation of women" viewpoint is one of your arguments agaisnt the Burkha, you should have been even more welcoming of a woman forced to live in such a way.
