Why are we proposing that these devices need to step change when a car goes to a lower limit ? Of course it would decelerate progressively ??!!??
By the way, I've a couple of questions on the SPECS system :
o Does it apply to trucks ? I regularly use the M1 and most trucks [UK as well as foreign registered] travel at between 55mph and 60mph through the 50mph controlled zone in the roadworks around junction 9 through 13.
o Does anybody know someone who has been prosecuted for exceeding the speed through a SPECS area ? I know lots of people who've been prosecuted by GATSOs and mobile speed traps, but I don't know anyone caught by SPECS.
