I agree with Ian about buying an older car. My MK1 Fiesta 957cc is around the 1600-2000 pound mark on normal insurance, i then found out, because it's an 83' car that it's liable for classic car insurance but i'm yet to get a quote. Two people in my class at college are on classic car insurance with footman james, one has a 1275 Mini Clubman Estate, the other a 950 Mini Mayfair, and there both paying around the Ł500 mark for their insurance. Although it seems silly as there older cars so in theory are more dangerous, the insurance is cheaper.. figure that one out... lol - Just my pennies worth :) Thomas............
