The whole parc ferme rule goes against the philosophy of F1. And it's the reason we never see great races anymore. Mansell winning in Hungary in the Ferrari, Schumacher at Barcelona in the wet passing a whole host of great drivers on the opening lap. The teams can no longer make changes over night to allow this.

How would you feel if you had been testing all day Friday and Saturday at Super's only to realise something fundamentally simple was holding back your laptime but because of parc ferme you cannot change your preferred gearing, torsion settings or ride height? Now you gotta do race day with it too, ....you may as well go home!
