I have been with Vodafone since at least 1992. I was about to phone them to complain that the £25 plus change per month was too much for the 150 minutes and lots of text (more than I could physically text in a month). £15 with 3 payg would give more time etc. They phoned me and I am now on 200 or 250 minutes (can't remember) all networks/landline and 500 texts for £10.50 (£15 if I wanted 0.5 gb data) I am not on a contract, I think it is a 1 month rolling contract. There is so much competition out there with payg sims that the networks have to negotiate. They may well force you to hold to the contract, but make it plain that at the end of the contract you will be gone. Negotiate.
