Nah... there's been serious naughtiness involved in the banking mess as well. The problem is the criminal justice system is not sophisticated enough to deal with it. For example, Bernie Madoff committed the world's largest ever fraud [aka robbery] and is actually on bail at the moment. If you held up a bank for a grand you'd be in jail.

Pension funds have decreased phenomenally [check your own out if you haven't already] and we're building a tax liability of incredible proportions for ourselves. In other words, a small number of people committed crimes and became very wealthy at the expense of ignorant joe public.

The MPs and their expenses problem won't affect us. This will.
