If you got one of the early ones your 10 years is up or very nearly is.

Worth check as once it is out of date it is invalid, and if Mr Police Officer SIR has been givena reason to be 100% with the law - you might have an issue - oh and I do believe there is a fee for the new one, but i haven't check yet.
