Todt would be the worst possible person to run the FIA. Whilst I agree he has the skills to do so, any decisions made would be questioned with regards to any potential Ferrari bias. So much so, he may even end up deliberately making decisions against Ferrari to compensate.

The best person to run the FIA would be someone outside of the realms of the major motorsport classes of F1, WRC, WTCC, GT's etc. They need the relevant motorsport experience without prior involvement in the major categories.
