I have only ever made 2 clims on my house contense insurance and both were laptops. The first drank a mug of coffee with sugar, which apparently was the killer element, and the second thew itself to the floor fractureing the mother board bt the power input plug.
On both occaisions I had a replacemnt within 7 days, the first one with an identicle model as it was still current but the second a much higher spec unit to the 3 year old original that coresponded with the approximate equivelent for todays level of spec.
All I had to do was supply the model numbers, seriel numbers and details of the circumstances via telephone.
Top service from Lloyds on that count!
