Yep no problem,

I went on an introduction to advance motoring held by the police and they insisted that in national speed limits and dual carraigeways, if it was safe to do so, they expected you to use the 10% rule and to make progress.

In fact on one of our break I was instructed that I was being cautious and I should used the full speed available - you try doing that with a police motorcyclist on your back wheel - every bone in your body is telling you to slow down.

Basically we were told by every policeman on the course, that if the road conditions are good and the weather is good and traffic allows. in a 60 they expected us to be doing 65-70.

They did also say the 30 was 30, and 40 was 40, no question, no arguement, no discussion.
