Having recently moved to the wrong side of the Atlantic I had also concluded karting.co.uk was in North America somewhere because it is certainly much faster from here.

I just did a traceroute to have a look and it is defintely in the UK.

This isn't the only thing in the UK that works better from this side of the Atlantic. I use VOIP phone extensively and the server I use in the UK. The quality is 10 times better connecting from here than from the anywhere I've tried in the UK.

It is not as if I'm the middle of New York, but out in Nova Scotia.
