There were so many ways they could have done it in stealth, but the top and bottom is Rob Smedley wasn't happy so he made it obvious intentionally. I am now wondering if his job is on the line. The fine is insignificant, but the damage done to the brand is massive. I hope he isn't in trouble but I bet there's been words behind the scenes.
I also think that Alonso's handling of the questions fired at him in the press conference was embarassing. I can't help but admire him as a driver but as a human being he's lowlife.
I would love to see what happens if the same situation develops in Hungary, that would be interesting.
