Newshound, adwords is great for short term but for long term you really want to employ a decent SEO campaign, you know, backlinks, fresh content, keyword rich content, up to date sitemap submitted to google, depending on your market you could create a helpful blog which can then link to your site, a well coded site etc etc etc the list goes on.
