You should not be surprised to see Tiff on Top Gear, after all he was the main presenter in the original version of top gear in the 90's along with a certain Vicki Butler Henderson. Even I used to do some driving work on the program, anyone who watched the early programs and knows me would have spotted me.
TG anoracks will also know that Tiff was famous (imfamous) for shunting a Honda NSX while filming, the final shots of the car having to be filmed from a very low angle (for dramatic effect of course) No! just to hide the red gaffer tape that made up most of the front wing and held the front end together!
