I thought that I have had over the past F1 season, you have parc ferme at the end of Quali where you cannot change things - yet some teams have been allowed to fix KERS systems, put new brake pads in etc etc.

Now I can understand the allowance to do work in the event of accident damage, but surely if you have built the car to be so fragile that it can't complete a race and the quali then surely you should loose out.

If I built a car that was pretty fast but also strong enough to last the required distance I am sure I would be a bit annoyed at my competitors being allowed to fix things and them to then beat my car.

If your Kers brakes/you have accident damage surely you should start at the back fo the grid, or open it up and allow all teams to change car set-ups for the day.
