forget the 20K, as richy has said it depends on how far you want to go in the sport... and how deep your pockets go!

if its just for dad and lad time alone then club racing and 1 big championship such as stars is i think more than affordable. at Ł5k-6k. for a year.
obviously depending on what you are looking out of the sport then its up to the bank balance.

but i say this!.. for me as with other fathers im sure, if my lad was good enough and enjoyed it, if the money was there, they would be doin it all! thats a fact of life... you always want to give your children the best in life.
there s nothing wrong in that. we'd all be lyin if we said we didnt want your own child to be crossing the line first every time.
